  • What is WellSpace’s Covid-19 Protocol?

    In order to protect the health of our staff, renters, and their clients, and to comply with NY State regulations, these guidelines are in effect for all Wellspace room bookings:

    • BOTH YOURS AND CLIENTS shoes are to be removed and sterilized in the waiting area.
    • Clients should wash their hands and/or be given hand sanitizer, provided by you. This is required by New York State.
    • Clients are required to wear masks when in the office and in supine (face up) position during the session. The may remove the mask once they are face down on the massage table. This is required by New York State.
    • Sterilization of the rooms SHOULD BEFORE AND AFTER every session. It is your responsibility to do so. Cleaning supplies will be provided. Treatments rooms, all equipment and surfaces must be sterilized after every session according to New York State Guidelines. We will be SUPPLYING cleaning products.
    • We ask that you limit loitering in the lobby after sessions.
    • Wellspace staff will be cleaning AND MONITORING the general office/shared areas outside of the treatment rooms, including UV Sweeps. We will be monitoring to make sure the guidelines are being met.
    • Please note that masks are required for therapists at all times when less than six feet away from clients and co-workers. This is required by New York State.
    • Protective eye coverings must be used by therapists during sessions. This is required by New York State.
    • Facial massage is prohibited by New York State law. To minimize contact with others in the office, we are creating more space between appointments and operating at 50% capacity.
      • Employees shall be tested for COVID-19 through a diagnostic test every 14 days, so long as the region in which the personal care workplace is located remains in Phase III of the State’s reopening.
      • Implement mandatory health screening assessment (e.g. questionnaire, temperature check) for employees and, where practicable, vendors, but such screenings shall not be mandated for customers and delivery personnel.

  • As a full-service holistic healing center, Wellspace provides:

    Please bring whatever you need for your session (nothing combustible other than moxie for acupuncture is allowed). Kindly be sure to also take everything with you upon completion of your session and leave the room ready to go for the next practitioner.

    We also have lockers that you can rent for $50 a month so you can keep your basic essentials.

  • Please ensure that your personal cancellation policy reflects Wellspace’s cancellation policy – 12 hours if booked more than 24 hours in advance.  And a six-hour cancellation policy if booked on the same day.  If your client cancels outside of the cancellation period, you need to let them know that they are at least liable for the cost of the space and whatever else you charge.  Of course, we know that clients schedule and then cancel – if you schedule a client and they change their minds within 2 hours of scheduling, there will be no penalty.

  • Online booking adds to the convenience to WellSpace. Once you’ve created an account you can log on any time anywhere to reserve space for a client request. This is important for new practitioners who need to get back to their clients right away with an appointment request. You can also call Mpower Bodywork at 212-539-1690 during regular business hours to book if you’re not near a computer. We’ll be happy to do it for you!

  • Most likely you have a professional liability policy that covers your practice, all you have to do is name our company "company name" as additional insured on your policy (usually free of charge).

  • If you use the space on a regular basis you might as well save yourself some money!

    • We have a membership program! For only $40 a month you get a 20% discount on all your sessions! Billing will recur monthly, with a 4-month minimum commitment.
    • Package of 10 sessions will get you a 10% discount. The system automatically discounts sessions.
    • Package of 30 sessions will get you a 20% discount. The system automatically discounts sessions.



With 30+ years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Gregory Serdahl understood that practitioners work best in an environment where they can receive the support of like-minded wellness professionals who are seasoned in the healing arts. After being in the same Union Square location for over 20 years, he took the opportunity to create WellSpace in order to assist holistic health practitioners in growing their businesses. He wanted to offer his colleagues professional and welcoming treatment spaces all while offering a central location to their clients.
